An Administrative Services Centre (ASC) has been opened in the Hvizdets settlement hromada of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. The hromada is a partner of the Polaris Programme: Supporting Multilevel Governance in Ukraine under the “Supporting Accessibility of Administrative Services” component.

The new ASC will provide more than 6,000 residents of the hromada with access to high-quality administrative services in comfortable and modern conditions. Around 150 administrative services will be delivered through the ASC, including all core services needed by local residents.

The Polaris Programme provided comprehensive support to the hromada for the establishment and development of the ASC, including institutional, advisory, training, and material and technical assistance. In particular, the ASC was equipped with modern technology necessary for high-quality visitor services and the efficient work of administrators.

The opening of the ASC marks an important stage in the hromada’s development. Special attention is being given to creating a barrier-free and accessible space for veterans returning from the frontline. This is why the new ASC is intended to become a place of maximum care, support, and convenience for every resident of the hromada.

The development of accessible and high-quality administrative services in hromadas is one of the key areas of work of the Polaris Programme, aimed at strengthening local self-government capacity and improving people’s quality of life.
