On 1–2 December, the Polaris Programme team gathered in Kyiv for a strategic session to jointly plan the first half of 2026. The meeting offered a moment to pause, reflect on the progress so far, and move forward with renewed energy.
The first day became a kind of journey inside the Programme: from an overview of our shared approaches to Swedish expertise, the mission of SALAR International, organisational structure, security, logistics, and finance. This part of the session helped us see how each element strengthens the Programme’s resilience and operational quality.
The team then moved into thematic groups — spaces where ideas emerged, approaches were discussed, and priorities for 2026–2028 were shaped. The next day, each group presented its proposals, shared insights, and searched for common ground with other areas.
Polaris enters its new cycle with a clear focus, a cohesive team, and a strong motivation to advance multilevel governance and build resilient hromadas across Ukraine.
