
On 25 November in Kyiv, the Swedish–Ukrainian Polaris Programme, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, will hold the conference ‘Quality Education and an Effective Hromada’.
The event will present the key achievements of the Polaris Programme in strengthening the capacity of the education system, the Ministry’s approaches to allocating the education subsidy for 2026, and the outcomes of the recent discussion on the state of early childhood education. A panel discussion will also take place, focusing on the factors that influence education quality.
In addition, a series of thematic workshops is planned for hromada representatives, covering equality in education, institutional development, local quality monitoring, work with the education dashboard, and the development of pupils’ competencies.
Applications for participation can be submitted via the link until 18 November.
We invite to register: representatives of hromada education authorities – managers and specialised staff; representatives of regional and district education bodies; hromada heads and their deputies responsible for the education sector; as well as education managers and analysts involved in planning, network optimisation and quality assurance.
