The Second Swedish-Ukrainian Municipal Partnership Forum brings together representatives of municipalities from both countries to promote sustainability and democratic development.
The 2025 Forum aims to strengthen existing partnerships, inspire new initiatives and create a space for practical planning of joint actions.
The program includes thematic discussions, exchange of experience, workshops and sessions in partner municipal pairs. It is a place for a lively dialogue about:
- experience from three years of facilitating cooperation between municipalities;
- practices of sustainability, democratic governance and community engagement;
- tools for international municipal cooperation;
- cultural characteristics and human stories that unite.
The forum participants include leaders of municipalities, regional associations, experts, representatives of communities and international organisations.
